CORRECT BATTERY CHARGING IS ESSENTIAL!

To prolong the life of your powerchair or scooter batteries, it's important to follow the correct procedures when charging your batteries.

If you use your power wheelchair heavily every day, charge it every night for 8-14 hrs.

If you use it occasionally, charge it two to three times per week for 8-14 hours.  At a minimum, charge your power wheelchair at least once per week for 8-14 hours if not heavily used.

Do not charge the batteries for more than 24 consecutive hours.

Never allow the batteries to lose a complete charge.

Do not use chargers designed for automobiles or wet-cell batteries. Only use the charger that is designed for scooters or power chairs.
